The Lie Boff family opened their first outlet in Jalan Tuanku Abdul Rahman making it the primary fast food outlet in Malaysia. This was followed in 1965 with the principal Drive-in eatery in Petaling Jaya. regardless I went by A&W’s drive in Petaling Jaya (beside Shah’s Motel) in 1972 amid one of my first visits ever to KL. In those days, you go down your auto window, and a roller-skating server (in a fairly meager outfit) drops by to join a plate on your auto window and takes your request.
