Day 1 – Arrival – Ahemdabad to Dwarka
You shall be picked up from Ahemdabad’s airport or railway station from where you will proceed to Dwarka. On your way visit the Lakhota Lake, Lakhota Palace and Museum and Shri Balahanuman Sankirtan Mandir that has made it to the Guinness Book of World Records for the continuous chanting of ‘Ram Dhun’ since August 1, 1964. Reach Dwarka, check-in to the hotel and have a pleasant stay.
Day 2 – Sightseeing
Today, set out to visit the ornate Dwarkadeesh Temple, where you can take a holy dip in the Gomti river. Later, depart to see the Nageshwar Jyotirling, Gopi Talav and Bet Dwarka, on your way back, also visit the Rukmini Devi Temple. In the evening, you can visit other temples that are located in the coastal area. Attend the evening aarti at Dwarkadish temple and then have a pleasant overnight stay in Dwarka.
Day 3 – Dwarka – Porbandar – Somnath
In the morning, enjoy a lip-smacking breakfast and check out from the hotel, depart for Porbandar. When here, visit the Kirti Mandir – the memorial temple built in the memory of Gandhiji. Later proceed to Somnath, upon arrival, visit the Junagadh Gate, Bhalka Tirth where Lord Krishna was hit by an arrow after which he is said to have left for his heavenly abode, according to the story in Puranas. Also, visit the beautiful Somnath Temple along with the Triveni Ghat where three rivers namely, Kapil, Hiran and Saraswati rivers merge into one. In the evening attend Aarti at Somnath Temple and catch the light and sound show. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 4 – Somnath Diu
Savour a delicious breakfast and then proceed to Diu. Also visit the St. Paul’s Church, Diu Museum and Fort Diu. The rest of the evening is at leisure to laze and relax on the beach. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 5 – Diu/ Gir/ Junagadh/ Rajkot
After a delectable breakfast, proceed to the Gir Forest National Park that is home of the majestic Asiatic Lion. Visit the Gir Interpretation Zone at Devaliya by boarding a minibus and then proceed to Junagadh where you will visit the Junagarh Fort. Later, head to Rajkot, upon arrival, check into the hotel and enjoy your overnight stay.
Day 6 – Departure
Today, savour a hearty breakfast and then proceed to Ahmedabad. Suiting the time at hand, go on an excursion of Ahmedabad. Visit the Swaminarayan Akshardham along with the Sabarmati Ashram in Ahmedabad. Later, you shall be dropped at the railway station/airport in the evening for your onward journey.
