Itinerary
Day 1 – Ahmedabad – Jamnagar – Dwarka (430 km/8 hrs)
Arrive at Ahmedabad airport/ railway station and proceed to Jamnagar. Visit Lakhota Lake, a beautiful lake situated around the Lakhota Fort in the centre of the city, offering serene views of the surroundings. Also make a visit to Lakhota Museum at the lake that exhibits interesting artifacts of the 18th and 19th century. In the evening, you will go on to visit the famous Bala Hanuman Temple that is famed for its nonstop Ramdhun chant since 1956. Later on, travel to the sacred town of Dwarka and have a pleasant night at the hotel.
Day 2 – Dwarka – Bet Dwarka
After a refreshing breakfast at the hotel, go on to visit the famous Dwarkadhish Temple. The temple is dedicated to Lord Krishna and is built using soft limestone. Take a holy dip in Gomti River and then visit other places of interest such as the Nageshwar Jyotirlinga, Gopi Talav, Bet Dwarka and Dandi Hanuman Temple (the only temple where Lord Hanuman resides with his son Makardwavaj) at Bet Dwarka. Nageshwar Jyotirling is a prominent Lord Shiva temple situated between Bet Dwarka and Dwarka city. It houses a large Shiva statue (25 m height), a pond and garden as well. Gopi Talav is a beautiful lake area where Lord Krishna used to dance with his gopis, as per legends. On your way back, make a visit to Rukmini Temple (dedicated to Rukmini, the main queen of Lord Krishna). In the evening, make a visit to other temples in the coastal area and attend the evening aarti at Dwarkadhish Temple. Stay overnight at the hotel.

Day 3 – Dwarka to Somnath via Porbandar
In the morning, leave for Porbandar and visit Kirti Mandir (the place where Gandhiji was born) and Sudama Temple. It is known to be the only Sudama Temple in the world. Later, you will proceed to Somnath and on arrival, make a visit to Bhalka Teerth, Triveni Sangam, Geeta Mandir Chopati and Somnath Temple. Bhalka Teerth is a sacred temple, where it is believed that Lord Krishna was shot in the foot by a poacher by mistake. Visit the Triveni Sangam, which is the meeting point of the rivers Saraswati, Kapila and Hiran and is considered as a sacred site by of the Hindus. Somnath Temple is said to be the first of Lord Shiva’s 12 jyotirlinga shrines and a major pilgrimage site. Attend the evening aarti at the temple and later on, watch a beautiful Light and Sound show. Finally, stay overnight at the hotel.
