Board your flight to Leh and experience one of the most sensational flight journeys in the world. On a clear day you can see the peaks of K2, Nanga Parbat at one side and on another there is Nun Kun massif that seems so close that you can almost touch it. On arrival at Leh Airport, meet the local tour representative who will transfer you to the hotel. Take rest as you’ll need time to acclimatise in this climate. From low elevation at New Delhi, you’ve reached over 11000 feet and thus the weather is very different here. After having lunch, you can take a leisurely walk through the old town for a self orientation with the lovely city however, keep it relaxed. Return to hotel, have dinner and sleep tight in the peaceful silence of the valley.

Visit to Shey, Thiksey & Hemis Monastery
Wake up to a tranquil morning, breathe purest of air and take a fill at morning breakfast. Set out for a full day of sightseeing. Visit the massive Tibetan Buddhist Gompas of Shey, Thiksey and Hemis.Shey is a beautiful ancient capital, a few kilometres up the Indus that charms everyone with its age old palaces and temples restored impressively. Further drive to see the fortress styled monastery of Thikse. Then we visit the Hemis Monastery, believed to be the most famous and rich Buddhist temple in the entire region. After exploring the sacred monasteries, return back to hotel and relax. You can stroll in the small local markets to buy some souvenirs. Have dinner at hotel and retire to a relaxed sleep.

fter morning breakfast, get ready for an adventurous thrill filled day. Check out from the hotel and drive to Nubra Valley via World’s Highest Motorable Pass. We drive through steep serpentine roads and reach Khardung La at a height of 5550 metres. Take a stop at the pass and enjoy bird’s eye view of Leh city from here, right where we started from! Click pictures of the fantastic view and admire the beauty before driving down to Nubra Valley. It is an enticing old caravan route at the confluence of Shyok and Nubra rivers. Arrive at the camp resort, freshen up and proceed to visit the charming valley of Diskit, the tiny capital of Nubra. Visit the famous Diskit Gompa, the oldest and largest Buddhist monastery (gompa) in the Nubra Valley providing a breathtaking view of the valley. After the visit, further drive to Hunder to see the cold desert and the world famous two humped camels. Enjoy a unique camel ride (on your own cost). After a super exciting time, it is time for some rest. We get back to the camps in late afternoon and relax. Take leisurely strolls in the evening, have dinner and retire for a relaxed sleep.
