Czech Republic ,Welcome to the Czech Republic today and upon arrival into Prague you are met and are transferred to your hotel. This magical capital city of bridges, cathedrals, gold-tipped towers and church domes, has been mirrored in the surface of the swan-filled Vltava River for more than ten centuries. Located right in the heart of Europe, since the Middle Ages, Prague has been known as one of the most beautiful cities in the world, and has been often given adjectives such as “golden,” “hundred spired,” or “the crown of the world.” Prague’s city centre remains a wonderful mixture of cobbled lanes, walled courtyards, cathedrals and countless church spires. The city is also a modern and vibrant place full of energy, music, arts and culture, fine dining, stylish cafes and traditional beer houses. Overnight in Prague.

Day 02: Prague

This morning, post breakfast time to take a Grand City Tour and visit the Prague Castle and go for a Boat Cruise. Discover Prague not only by bus and walking but view the architectonic jewel also from the Vltava River. During this tour we will introduce Prague as a historic and architectural jewel of Central Europe. Our guide will be with you the whole time, explaining the history of Prague and its neighborhoods (Old Town, New Town, Lesser Town) during the bus trip. The second part of the tour will take you to Prague castle where you visit the interior of this most important sight of Prague, St Vitus Cathedral. After approximately 60 minutes of guided walking tour you go to the bank of the Vltava River to get on board a boat where you can take a rest and relax admiring the beauties of Prague from a different view. Besides other bridges connecting both the river banks you will see the well-known Charles Bridge from the boat. Then continue for a pleasant walk through the Jewish town to the Old Town Square (Prague Astronomical Clock and Tyn Cathedral) where the tour ends. Later in the evening – recommendation – you must catch a performance at the Black Light Theatre. Overnight in Prague.

Day 03: Prague – Kutna Hora/ Konopiste Chateau / Karlstein Castle – Prague

Post breakfast this morning it’s time for you to experience any one of the tour of your choice (OPTIONAL): Tour to the famous Kutná Hora, an old mining town founded in the 13th century and famous for its silver mines. Visit the Gothic St. Barbora’s Cathedral, with its valuable murals, and the former royal mint, which once produced the so-called Prague Groschen. To this date, Kutná Hora has retained the character of a medieval city and rightly belongs among the most important UNESCO Heritage Sites in the Czech Republic. You will also visit a unique Ossuary in Sedlec (Bone church). Enjoy the wine tasting of local wines in the Monastery of St. Ursula. Spend the rest of the evening exploring the city.

Half day trip to Konopišt? Chateau. This castle that originated in 14th century was bought by the Hapsburg throne successor in 1887. Archduke Franz Ferdinand used all the mansion as his family residence until his death in Sarajevo which started the World War I. In castle interiors there are not only Ferdinand’s large art collections, numerous statues and pictures on St. George’s theme but you can also admire one of the world’s most extensive collections of historic weapons. Visit of Konopišt? Castle is an ideal half-day trip that you for sure should not miss!

Half day tour to Karlstejn Castle. Visit the Karlstejn Castle which was built in the 14th century by the Czech King and Roman Emperor, Charles IV. At that time, the castle held the treasure of the Holy Roman Empire, including the imperial coronation jewels. We would like to point out that this excursion is physically more demanding. In case the Karlštejn Castle is closed, we arrange an alternative visit to the Ceský Šternberk Castle.
