Day 1 – Arrival & Visit Jamnagar-Dwarka
On arrival in Ahmedabad, you will be picked up and transferred to Jamnagar. Visit Lakhota Talav (a beautiful, serene lake) and Bala Hanuman Temple. Then travel to Dwarka and check in at the hotel. You will visit Bet Dwarka if time permits and then head to Gomti Ghat and Gopi Talav. Attend the evening aarti at Dwarkadhish Temple before you retreat for the night in Dwarka.
Day 2 – Dwarka Sightseeing
Attend the early morning aarti at Dwarkadhish Temple. Then enjoy a delicious breakfast and proceed to Okha coastal town. Then take a boat to Bet Dwarka and visit the sacred Rukmini Temple (dedicated to queen of Lord Krishna Rukmini). Also visit Nageshwar Jyotirling temple and rest the night away in Dwarka.
Day 3 – Way to Porbandar & Somnath
In the morning, travel from Dwarka to Porbandar (105 km, 2 hrs) and go on to visit Kirti Mandir (a memorial honouring Gandhiji) and Sudama Temple (dedicated to one of the devotee of Lord Krishna ). In the noon, head to Somnath (128 km, 3 hrs) and visit important sites such as Bhalka Tirth, Somnath Temple (one of the 12 jyotirlingas) and Triveni Sangam. Stay overnight in Somnath.
Day 4 – Beach Fun at Diu
Have a sumptuous breakfast in Somnath and proceed to Diu on this day. Check in at the hotel and go on to explore Diu. Make a visit to Fort Diu (built by the Portuguese), Naida Caves (a paradise for explorers and photographers), the Church, Nagoa Beach, Lighthouse, Jalandhar Beach and other places. Then have a good night stay in Diu.
Day 5 – Lost in Forest
After a delicious breakfast, you will proceed to Sasan Gir (Gir National Park). The park was notified as a wildlife sanctuary in 1965 and home to the magnificent Asiatic Lion. Also visit the Gir Interpretation Zone at Devaliya (the sanctuary will be closed during rains). Enjoy a Jungle Safari and visit Devaliya Park, Crocodile Park and Kankai Mata Temple. Stay overnight at Sasan Gir.
Day 6 – History Revealed
On this day, after a good breakfast you will travel to Ahmedabad. En-route, explore popular attractions like the Uparkot Fort, Mahabat Maqbara, Ashoka Rock Edicts and Junagadh Museum (with interesting exhibits of Junagadh kings). You will also make a visit to Jalaram Temple (at Virpur), Damodar Kund (a sacred Hindu site), Navlakha Palace, Swaminarayan Temple and the Vintage car museum at Gondal. In the evening, check in at the hotel in Ahmedabad and get a good night rest.
Day 7 – Heritage Ahmedabad
In the morning, you will go ahead and visit Sabarmati Riverfront (for recreation activities), the Gandhi Ashram, Jama Masjid, Kankaria Lake (Second largest lake of Ahmedabad) and Lal Darwaja for shopping. Furthermore, proceed to the famous Akshardham Temple (one of the largest temples and a major site of worship in the country) in Gandhinagar and then be dropped at Ahmedabad domestic airport for your return journey.
