Day 1 – Arrive in Jammu – Katra
Kashmir And Vaishno Devi, On arrival at Jammu Airport / Railway Station / Bus Stand, our representative will transfer you to Katra. Check in at the hotel and spend the rest of the day at leisure, when you can visit Dera Baba Banda and Nau Devi Temple (leisure activities are not included in the package). Then get a good night’s rest at the hotel.
Day 2 – Vaishno Devi Darshan
On this day, proceed for the holy Vaishno Devi Darshan. First visit the Bhairon Ghati or Bhairon Temple, which is located approximately 6 km above Vaishno Devi Temple. Bhairon Temple is considered a sacred site as it is the place where goddess Vaishno Devi had killed Bhairon Nath; and when he asked for an apology, the goddess gave him a boon that he will be the last link for all the devotees on the Vaishno Devi pilgrimage tour. Trek up to the temple, worship the goddess and after darshan, return to Katra for a pleasant overnight stay.
Day 3 – Katra – Srinagar
After breakfast you will proceed towards Srinagar and enjoy the scenery en-route. Then rest the night away in Srinagar.
Day 4 – Srinagar Local Sightseeing
After a sumptuous breakfast, go ahead and visit the prominent attractions in Srinagar. You will get to visit the famous Mughal Gardens – Chashme Shahi Bagh (The Royal spring), Nishat Bagh (The garden of Pleasure) and Shalimar Bagh (Abode of love). The grand Mughal Gardens in Kashmir was built by Emperor Jahangir at the base of the mighty Zabarwan Mountains. The gardens are a splendid sight, with a vast variety of flowers, trees, herbs and aromatic plants. Then stay overnight at a Houseboat in Srinagar.
Day 5 – Srinagar – Gulmarg
After a pleasant breakfast, proceed to the stunning town of Gulmarg. Also known as “The Meadow of Flowers”, Gulmarg is famous for its breathtaking vistas, lush green pastures, the world’s highest golf course and the enthralling cable car ride. Enjoy pony rides around the picturesque locale or take the exhilarating cable car ride up to Khilanmarg or Apharwat Snow Point, while watching the enchanting snowy peaks around you (pony ride and cable car ride are not included in the package). Finally, stay overnight at the hotel in Gulmarg.
Day 6 – Gulmarg – Pahalgam
Have a delicious breakfast at the hotel and proceed to Pahalgam. En-route, you will get a glimpse of the Bat factory, saffron fields and Awantipora Ruins. On reaching Pahalgam, enjoy breathtaking views of the snow-capped peaks. After a good lunch, you can go ahead and visit some of the popular attractions in Pahalgam – Aru Valley, Betaab Valley and Chandanwari by ponies or local transport (not included in the package). Betaab Valley is famed for being the shooting location for the film “Betaab” and it offers picturesque views on all sides. Then spend a lovely night in Pahalgam.
