Today after an American breakfast at the hotel, Explore the beauty and tranquility of Rottnest as you sit back and relax in the comfort of an air conditioned coach. Visit Swan Valley – colonial towns, crafts and Western Australia’s first wine growing region. Visit Caversham Wildlife Park – an opportunity to see koalas, wombat and kangaroo close up. Cross vast big sky scrub and pasturelands and look for kangaroos and emus on the endless plains. Visit a lobster farm on a guided tour. Next enjoy a picnic lunch at the coastal town of Cervantes. See Namburg National Park – Home of the Pinnacles. Take a guided walk through the Pinnacles desert and it’s limestone pillars created by the forces of nature. Take a break at the cray fishing port of Lancelin on the Indian Ocean with time for a short stroll on the beach. Enjoy thrills with giant four wheel driving across and down the massive Lancelin sand dunes – exhilarating! Start your city tour which will cover sights of Classic Victoria Square – the heart of the city, Grand boulevard of King William Street including Beehive Corner at the head of Rundle Mall, The Terraces – north, south, east and west separating the city from the parklands, Elegant Parliament House, State Library, Trendy Hutt Street where Adelaide love to eat, drink and relax! Also experience the stunning Oval Roof Climb at the Adelaide Oval cricket ground – home to the Bradman collection! Dinner at a local Indian restaurant.Breakfast at the hotel. If you choose the – SIC Day trip to Kangaroo Islands by ferry, your day trip begins with pickup in Adelaide by coach for the 90-minute drive with your guide across the Fleurieu Peninsula to Cape Jervis, where you’ll catch the ferry for a 45-minute cruise across Backstairs Passage to Penneshaw on Kangaroo Island. Upon arrival, board another coach for your tour of the island. If you’re starting by plane, land at the island’s Kingscote Airport, where you’ll be met by the coach. Then begin your Kangaroo Island experience at Seal Bay Conservation Park to witness Australian sea lions lazing on the beach; take a coastal walk with a National Parks ranger for an up-close look at the colony. Continue to Vivonne Bay for a 2-course lunch at Vivonne Bay Bistro, where picture windows and a deck provide opportunities to watch for koalas and kangaroos in the surrounding bush. After lunch, visit Hanson Bay Wildlife Sanctuary, where kangaroos, wallabies and echidnas roam free and koalas stay lazy in their eucalyptus groves, and then head to Flinders Chase National Park on the rugged southwest coast of the island to walk among the granite boulders known as the Remarkable Rocks. See the rock archway known as Admirals Arch, admire Cape du Couedic and watch long-nosed fur seals as they play and relax. Throughout your tour, hear about the history of Kangaroo Island and learn interesting facts about the animals from your knowledgeable guide. When your time on the island is up, head back to the ferry landing, watching for more kangaroos along the way, for your ferry ride back to the mainland and coach transfer back to your hotel.
If you choose the – Barossa Valley Hot Air Balloon Ride with Winery Breakfast – After early morning pickup from your Barossa Valley hotel, meet your expert pilot at Langmeil Winery and head to the best launch site for your flight. Upon arrival at the launch site, your pilot and crew start the balloon inflation process, which takes about 30 minutes. Marvel as the huge balloon puffs up and rises off the ground and keep your camera handy for great photo ops. You are also welcome to help out during the process for a more hands-on experience. Before your flight, your pilot provides a safety briefing and answers any questions you may have. Then, step into the basket of the hot air balloon and, when ready, experience the incredible feeling of gently lifting off the ground into the sky.
