Day 1 – Arrival in Udaipur
Upon arrival in Udaipur, meet a Yatra representative and proceed towards the designated hotel.
Located in the foothills of Aravallis, this beautiful city of Rajasthan is popularly referred as the Venice of East. After Jaipur, Udaipur is the second-most preferred tourist destination in Rajasthan. The city boasts shimmering lakes, palaces, monuments, gardens, temples and museums. Owing to its gorgeous lakes, it is also known as the City of Lakes. If you wish to learn about the past of this city, then going to its museums can serve the purpose.
This romantic city has many sightseeing points, which attract a large number of tourists from all over the globe. Some of them are City Palace, Lake Pichola, Lake Palace and Bagore ki Haveli.
On reaching the hotel, check-in and relax for some time. Thereafter, you can spend the rest of the day in the hotel or can head to nearby places for little excursion.
Day 2 – Sightseeing in Udaipur
Today, embark on a sightseeing tour of Udaipur. You can start the trip with a visit to the popular City Palace. Situated on the banks of Lake Pichola, this beautiful palace dates back to 1559 and is a perfect mix of Medieval, European and Chinese architectural styles. This grand palace houses another 11 magnificent palaces. From its architecture to its antiques and paintings, everything of this palace is awe inspiring.
After getting a sense of royalty, proceed towards Bagore ki Haveli, another place that still retains the touch of royalty. This 18th century construction displays an antique collection from the Rajputana era. Visiting this place will be incomplete if you miss the Rajasthani dance and music performance, held in the evenings here.
Scenic beauty of the city can be witnessed at Lake Pichola. This picturesque lake amidst huge hills, presents a panoramic view of the dazzling palaces as the sun goes down. Lovely views of the city can be captured by cruising on this lake.
Day 3 – Udaipur to Ranakpur
Freshen up in the morning and get ready with your bags to check-out from the hotel as from here you will leave for Ranakpur.
A village in the Pali district of Rajasthan, Ranakpur is endowed with lush greenery and picture-perfect landscape. A drive to this quaint village, surrounded by the majestic Aravallis is a remarkable experience. This village is acclaimed for its intricate Jain temples and is referred to as the ‘Temple Town of Rajasthan’. It is home to one of the five spectacular temples of Jain cult, known as Ranakpur Jain Temple. Some other temples located here that define ethereal beauty include Sun Temple and Chaumukha Temple. A religious tour of this place that lies amidst barren desert and sand dunes will give you a divine and pleasant experience.
On your arrival to Ranakpur, check-in at the hotel and be comfortable. After taking rest, you can go out to explore the place by your own.
Later, return to the hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 4 – Ranakpur to Nathdwara | Nathdwara to Chittorgarh
On this day, check-out from the hotel and proceed towards Chittorgarh en route visiting Nathdwara.
Situated on the banks of Banas River, Nathdwara is a tiny hamlet famous for its Pushtimarg shrine of Srinathji, an incarnation of Lord Krishna. Apart from Srinathji Temple, this place is also noted for its Pichwai Paintings, which depict the life of Lord Krishna and Haveli music. This significant Vaishnavite pilgrimage is a perfect place to connect to your spiritual side.
From here, move towards Chittorgarh, a city in the south-east of Rajasthan. This city hosts the rich heritage of the state to define its historic valour. It is famous for its massive fortress, Chittorgarh Fort. Apart from this, it is also home to many other sightseeing places including Vijay Stambh, Meerabai Mandir, Kalika Mata Temple and Rana Kumbha Palace. This place has a sublime charm that tempts travellers from across the globe.
