Day 1: Arrive in Delhi- On your arrival at the Delhi airport or railway station, meet your tour representative. Get assisted transfer to your hotel and check in for a relaxed overnight stay.
Day 2: Delhi Sightseeing- Start the day with a hearty breakfast at the hotel. Choose from the variety of dishes served. Later, proceed with sightseeing tour of Old and New Delhi. Enjoy exploring the charming Mughal architecture of Red Fort, Jama Masjid and Chandni Chowk where you are going to enjoy a rickshaw ride. Take a break as you savor traditional lunch at a popular restaurant Chor Bizarre.
Later, continue with your city tour. Pay a visit to Lutyen’s Delhi, planned by the British Architect, where you will pay a visit to Diplomat Enclave, India Gate and President’s House. Also, unravel the UNESCO World Heritage Sites of Humayun’s Tomb and Qutub Minar.
Day 3: Delhi – Agra (around 220 kms)- Have an early breakfast, after which you leave by road for Agra. En-route, explore the majestic Sikandra- the mausoleum of the Mughal Emperor Akbar. Continue with your drive towards Agra, check-in to your hotel and have lunch.
After a while of rest, in the evening, pay a visit to the Taj Mahal, one of the Seven Wonders of the World. The white-marble mausoleum was commissioned by Mughal Emperor Shah Jehan, in the memory of his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal. The mesmerizing beauty of Taj, during sunset makes you fall in love. Marvel at the architecture and praise the immortal icon of love. In the evening, attend a folk performance and puppet show.
Day 4: Agra sightseeing- Jaipur (245 kms)- Start the day with breakfast at the hotel. Leave to explore the Agra fort, also known as Red Fort, built by Mughal Emperor Akbar. The red sandstone fort is a testament to Mughal glory and comprise of beautiful palaces, gardens, mosques and more. The highlights are Diwan-i-Am, Diwan-i-Khas, Jehangir Mahal, Khas Mahal, etc.
Afterwards, begin your road journey for Jaipur. On the way, stop to explore the remains of Fatehpur Sikri, which was once the capital of the Mughal dynasty. The abandoned city is one of the best examples of Mughal architecture.
Later, continue with your journey towards Jaipur. Lunch is arranged in Bharatpur at Laxmi Vilas Palace. Post lunch, drive towards Jaipur, where you can check in to the hotel. Take a leisurely walk around or enjoy the sights. Dinner is arranged at Chokhi Dhani, an ethnic village resort. Traditional Rajasthani gastronomy, cultural performance, camel ride, etc. are the highlights of the evening.
Day 5: Jaipur- As soon as you are done with breakfast at hotel, leave for visiting the Amber fort. Listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the hilltop fort of Rajasthan enjoys breathtaking views of the ‘Pink City’ of Jaipur As this fort is situated on a hilltop, you are going to enjoy an elephant or jeep ride. Built during the reign of Raja Man Singh I, this fort is a magnificent structure. Sheesh Mahal, Shila Devi Temple, Ganesh Pol, and Diwan-e-Khas are the highlights of the fort.
Take a break for lunch, after which you can proceed to visit the other attractions. Start with the City Palace-a perfect blend of Mughal and Rajasthani architecture, abode of the current royal family. Next, stop to explore the Costume Museum, where you can come across the extremely beautiful local dress materials and handicrafts like Bandhej, Kimkhambs, Zari, Gota, Jama etc. Observe the 18th century Jantar Mantar-an astronomical observatory, founded by Sawai Jai Singh II to record astronomical events. The last stop of the day is Hawa Mahal, the beehive like structure commissioned by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II. Dinner is served at Raj Palace.
Day 6: Jaipur – Udaipur- Start the day with early morning breakfast. Check out of the hotel and get timely transfer to the Jaipur airport to board the flight to Udaipur. On your arrival, check in to your Hotel. After completing the formalities, leave for sightseeing.
The first stop of the day is the City Palace. Explore the marvelous Peacock courtyard, beautiful rooms with ivory doors, mirrored walls, spacious marbled balconies, etc. Get ready for a scenic boat ride on Lake Pichola in the evening. A popular attraction to visit in the ‘City of Lakes’ is Jag Mandir Palace built in the middle of the lake. Pay your respects to the 300-year old Jagdish temple. Move on to explore the Royal Cenotaphs of the Rajputana rulers. A special dinner in organized at Durbar Hall or Taj Lake Palace. After the day full of excitements, return to hotel for overnight stay.
Day 7: Udaipur – Delhi- Begin the day with a leisurely breakfast at the hotel. The day is free of plans. Get timely transfer to the airport to board the flight to Delhi. On your arrival, explore the popular markets of the capital city of India. Indulge in last minute shopping or gorge on street food. Farewell dinner with a cultural performance. Get transferred to the airport or railway station to a board flight or train for your onward destination journey with fond memories.
