Day 1 – Explore the rich cultural heritage of Bikaner (Bikaner)
Arrive at the airport or railway station in Jaipur, and travel by road to Bikaner. On reaching the hotel, you must check in. Embark on a royal exploration spree in Bikaner. Commence your tour at the magnificent Junagarh Fort, an exemplary example of unique Indian architecture. Walk to Sadul Museum and Prachina Museum, both known to display interesting articles portraying the cultural heritage of Bikaner. Next, visit Ganga Golden Jubilee Museum that proudly displays a beautiful collection of Rajasthani paintings, musical instruments, and many more. After this, enjoy a Tonga ride as you explore the Old City.
Day 2 – Bask in the beauty of Bikaner (Bikaner)
On this day, visit the famous Bhandasar Jain Temple, a beautifully constructed temple known for its unique design, sculpted pillars, marvelous frescos, and serene aura. You can visit Royal Cenotaphs, constructed in remembrance of kings and queens of Bikaner. Visit Karni Mata Temple of Deshnok, also called ‘The Rat Temple of Rajasthan’. This unique temple has thousands of rats running through its premises and they are considered an auspicious part of it. Next, enjoy a drive to Gajner Palace Sanctuary, known for bird watching and animal sighting. In the evening, head to Camel Breeding Farm and Research Center, where you can watch different breeds of camels and explore the interesting museum.
Day 3 – Jaisalmer, a land of forts and palaces (Bikaner – Jaisalmer)
Enjoy your drive to the gorgeous Golden City. On reaching, check in at the hotel. Head to the world-famous Jaisalmer Fort or Sonar Quila, built by the Rajput ruler Rao Jaisal. This fort has witnessed quite a number of battles. It is also a home to the prominent Jain Temples that are adorned with beautiful carvings. The architecture reminds you of the Dilwara Temples of Mount Abu. Day 4 – Explore Jaisalmer, a jewel of Rajasthan (Jaisalmer)
On this day, get set for some fun time as you visit Gadisar Lake. This man-made lake is actually a water reservoir built in 1400 AD by Maharaja Maharwal Gadsi Singh. You can spot a lot of shrines and temples around this lake. More fun awaits you as you enjoy the picturesque drive to Sam Sand Dunes. Day 5 – A Visit to the Splendid Sun City – Jodhpur (Jaisalmer – Jodhpur)
On your arrival at Jodhpur, go to the hotel and check in.
