The Jama Masjid (Friday Mosque), built in the 15th century, has a huge courtyard and a columned design.

Day 1
Arrive Mumbai

On arrival at Mumbai Airport meet with our representative and transfer to the hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 2
Mumbai - Ahmedabad - Chhota Udaipur

After breakfast transfer to the Airport to board the flight for Ahmedabad. Upon arrival meet with our representative & drive to Chhota Udaipur. On arrival by the evening transfer to the hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 3
Chhota Udaipur

After breakfast full day tribal tour to Chhota Udaipur. We will go on a jeep to the tribal villages like Kol, Khadakwadi, Timla, Devhat etc. In the afternoon we will visit the tribal museum of Chhota Udaipur and a couple of more villages of tribal’s to see PITHORA Wall paintings in their houses. Late evening return to hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.

Chhota Udaipur is in proximity to various hamlets of Bhils, Rathwas, Bhilalas & other tribes. The tribal folks can be spotted in sporting colourful attires and chunky jewelry. A tour of the tribal village and hamlets offer an insight of traditional architecture, lifestyle & handicrafts of each aboriginal community. The Tribal market called “HATT” (a mobile market) occurs at different villages. Pithora paintings, pottery, terracotta figures, Langoti wearing and bamboo basket weaving are main attractions. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 4
Chhota Udaipur - Vadodara

After breakfast departure to Baroda en-route visiting Champaner fort of Pavagadh built in 15th century by the Sultan of Ahmedabad Mahmud Begada. Nagina and Jami mosques are the most beautiful specimen of indo saracenic architecture.

Upon arrival at the Vadodara, check in to the hotel. After lunch we will visit of the museums of Vadodara.

In a time Vadodara was one of the princely state of Gujarat ruled by Maratha Gaekwad. Now it is an important industrial city with many pharmaceuticals, petrochemicals, and fertilizers plants. It is also the head quarter of Archaeological survey of India for Gujarat region. Evening return to the hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 5
Vadodara - Bhavnagar

Morning after breakfast drive to Bhavnagar. Bhavnagar is an important city trading post for cotton goods manufacturing. Upon arrival check into the hotel. In the afternoon visit Takhteshwar temple & Gandhi smriti museum with a moderate collection of Gandhi ji memorabilia and religious status. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 6
Bhavnagar - Palitana (55 km one way) - Bhavnagar

Morning after breakfast an excursion to Palitana, the gateway to the Shatrunjaya hill and one of the holiest pilgrimage site for jains. There are about 863 temples on the top of the hill, exquisitely carved in marble and built over a span of 900 years.

After reaching the top we will visit the Jain temple. The temple is dedicated to Shri Adishwara, the first jain Tirthankara (apostle) is once of the most magnificent temples and the most sacred temple in Shtrunjaya hill. Further visit Chaumukha or the four faced temple. It has an image of Adinath facing out in the fore cardinal direction. Later in the evening return to the Bhavnagar. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 7
Bhavnagar - Gondal

Morning after breakfast drive to Gondal, a picturesque town with plenty of gracious architecture, wide tree lined roads and European lampposts. Upon arrival check into the hotel.

After fresh-n-up visit Royal family vintage car collection of Gondal. The royal garages, have an extensive collection of vintage & classic cars including a 1910 new engine, a Delage & a Daimler from teh 1920s, a 1935 Mercedes, 1935 Packard 2 door convertible, 1941 & 1947 Cadillac, 1955 Cadillac limousine, Jaguar ax 150, Chevrolet etx. Most of these cars are restored & some bear the original Gondal state number plates. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 8
Gondal - Bhuj

Morning after breakfast we will depart for Bhuj. On arrival check into the hotel. Rest of the day free to explore the colourful market. Overnight stay at hotel.

Bhuj was established in the early 17th century by the Jadeja Rajput rulers. Last earthquake of Gujarat destroyed the fabulous museums called Aina Mahal and also damaged the Palaces ol Bhuj. It is an ideal centre to visit various craft centres of Kutch spread in radius of 80 to 100 kms.

Day 9

After breakfast, with packed lunch we go on a full day excursion to Bani Villages. Situated amidst the desert land of infinite dimensions, are suspended, quaint little villages. These are the last villages on the India – Pakistan border. Here you will come across master craft people’s exposing their traditional art, turning our master pieces every day. Their ornaments, clothes, utensils, everything they use – will make you feel as you have stepped into lifestyle museum leaving you spellbound. Return to Bhuj for overnight stay.

Day 10

Today we will have a full day excursion of Bani Villages, situated east & south side of Bhuj.

During our visit we will see Anjar (old architecture), Banni (Bhiugna mud houses, Kutchi handicrafts), Kera (11th century Shiva temple). Later return to Bhuj for overnight stay.

Day 11
Bhuj - Bajana

After breakfast drive to Bajana. Upon arrival enjoy the Jeep safari to the little Rann of Kutch to see the rare species of the Indian wild ass. In the evening a visit to the nearby villages to see the local tribes such as Rabri, Koli & Bajana still maintaining their rich heritage of lifestyle clothes, jewellery and dance. Their embroidery is exquisite. Overnight stay at Bajana.

Day 12
Bajana - Poshina

After breakfast drive to Poshina, en-route visiting Patan and Modhera. Patan, an ancient fortified town, was founded in 745 AD by Vanraj Chavda, the most prominent king of the Chavda Kingdom. He named the city Anhilpur Patan or “Anhilwad Patan” after his close friend and Prime Minister Anhil shepherd. It is variously referred to in Sanskrit literature as Anahilpatak, Anahipattan, Anahilpur, Anahilvad Pattan, Pattan etc.

Patan was the capital of Gujarat it is only a place in Gujarat where one can see the double Ikat patola saree. It has also one of the largest stepwell of Gujarat called Rani ki vav built In early 11th cent an excellent architecture Specimen of Gujarat.

Further drive to Modhera to visit the Sun temple built in early 11th century by Bhimdev Solanki the king of Gujarat one of the best example of Hindu architecture. Later drive to Poshina. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 13

After breakfast full day excursion to the tribal village of Poshina. It is home to a number of artisans the tribal arrow crafters, silversmiths, potters, blacksmiths and the market is famous for silver tribal jewellery, ornate sheathed daggers & terra cotta horses. Around Poshina are hamlets of the Bhill & Garasia tribal communities, known for their colourful attires & artistic ornaments. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 14
Poshina - Ahmedabad

After breakfast depart for Ahmedabad. Upon arrival check into the hotel. After lunch proceed to visit one of the finest textile museum of the world Calico museum. It as the finest collections of various types and kinds of textiles from all over the world right from the 17th century to 19th century. Also visit the Gandhi ashram the place of the legend hero of the independence of India Mahatma Gandhi. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 15
Ahmedabad - Mumbai drop

After breakfast transfer to Airport for Mumbai to connecting flight for onward destination.
