Day 1 – Visit the Pink City! (Jaipur)
Your tour of Rajasthan begins at Jaipur – the capital of the desert state. On arrival at the airport or railway station, proceed to the hotel and check in. After freshening up, head out to explore the Hawa Mahal, a stunning palace constructed of red and pink sandstone. After this, walk to the Jantar Mantar Observatory, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Next, visit the City Palace, followed by a visit to the stunning Amber Fort, built during the 16th century. Then, head to the beautiful Jal Mahal that sits on the Man Sagar Lake. Lastly, pay you obeisance at the Birla Temple before returning to the hotel.
Day 2 – Discover the Blue City – Jodhpur (Jaipur – Jodhpur)
On this day, you need to check out from your hotel and travel by road to Jodhpur − The Blue City. After checking in, head to one of India’s largest forts – Mehrangarh Fort, which was built in 1460. Next, head to Jaswant Thada – a palace built in polished white marble in honor of Maharaja Jaswant Singh. After this, move to Umaid Bhawan Palace- one of the largest private residences in the world. End your day with a visit to the Clock Tower, located in the Old City. If time permits, visit some local bazaars before heading back to the hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 3 – A Visit to Udaipur the Kashmir of Rajasthan (Jodhpur-Udaipur)
After checking out from your hotel, travel by road to the most romantic city of India – Udaipur. Check in at your hotel and head out with your camera for a day of sightseeing. Begin with the City Palace, the most famous attraction that took almost 400 years to build. Located close to the palace complex is the Jagdish Temple that is known for its architectural brilliance. Before the end of the day, visit Saheliyon-ki-Bari, a picturesque garden located on the banks of Fateh Sagar Lake. This was the relaxing spot for the Queen of Udaipur and other royal ladies.
Day 4 – Explore the City of Lakes (Udaipur)
After a night’s rest, the sightseeing continues. Begin with Sajjan Garh Palace, a late 19th-century palace that sits on a hilltop, giving you excellent views of the entire city with its lakes and palaces. Next on the list is an entertaining puppet show at Lok Kala Mandal. After this, head to Bagore ki Haveli, a beautiful mansion with hundreds of rooms that take you back in time. The haveli is located on the banks of Lake Pichola where you can enjoy a boat ride before heading back to your hotel.
Day 5 – Time to go home (Udaipur – Jaipur)
Your five-day Rajasthani adventure has come to an end and it’s time to return home with knick-knacks and memories. After checking out of your hotel, proceed to Jaipur by road and head to the airport or railway station to conclude your trip.
