Day 1 – Explore the Venice of the East (Udaipur)
Commence your trip to the city of Udaipur, often touted as the most romantic in India, with excitement and vigor. Check in at your hotel after your arrival at the airport or railway station, and set out to explore the Venice of the East, Udaipur. Begin your trip with a visit to the City Palace of Udaipur, an architectural marvel of Rajasthan. Then head for a pleasant boat ride on Lake Pichola. Gaze at the City Palace while you ride the calm waters of the lake. Later, visit the Bagore Ki Haveli, an 18th-century mansion famous for its intricate glasswork and carvings. The traditional spectacle of these monuments will leave you mesmerized.
Day 2 – Deeper into the heart of Udaipur! (Udaipur)
Start your day in Udaipur with spiritual blessings by visiting the Jagdish Temple, a renowned Hindu Temple and a major monument of Rajasthan. Wind your way up to the Lok Kala Mandal, which is the platform for studying folk, art, songs, and culture in Udaipur. The sheer display of creativity and charm of this place will enthrall you. Also visit the Saheliyon-Ki-Bari, a garden, and a major tourist spot. It has a lotus pond and kiosks, along with a beautifully carved marble elephant. Your travel to the ‘Kashmir of Rajasthan’ will be beautifully concluded by these attractions. Return to your hotel in the evening for an overnight stay.
Day 3 – The hill forts of Kumbhalgarh (Udaipur-Kumbhalgarh)
In the morning, check out from the hotel in Udaipur and get ready to explore the attractions of Kumbhalgarh. Check in at your hotel on arrival and start your trip by visiting the Kumbhalgarh fort, a Mewar fortress on the Western range of Aravalli Hills. The serene and peaceful atmosphere will make you want to stay here as long as possible. From here, head on to the Badal Mahal which is situated at the top of Kumbhalgarh fort. It is a breath-taking monument covered with pastel-colored murals from the 19th Century.
Day 4 – Heritage of Chittorgarh (Kumbhalgarh-Chittorgarh)
Pack your bags to learn about the rich heritage of Chittorgarh. Check-in at your hotel on arrival. Set out on the adventures of discovering Chittorgarh, starting at Chittorgarh Fort. This UNESCO World Heritage Site was the Capital of Mewar. It is one of the largest forts in India and is a massive crowd-puller. Every year, thousands of tourists visit this attraction. Later, head to the Vijay Stambh. It an imposing victory monument erected near Chittorgarh Fort. In the evening, get back to your hotel for a good night’s rest.
